I moved to Vegas just so i could dance in the greatest clubs on earth. I have been dancing since i was a little kid. To me, dancing is an important part of my life. You could say dancing is my passion, and it is, second only to my passion for beautiful women. Dancing is also a part of the mating ritual for many vertebrates, including us humans (apologies to silicon lifeforms visiting this page.)

Although women are not aroused by images to the extent that men are, the sexes seem to be equally stimulated by dancing. Dancing exhibits good DNA in terms of bone construction, musculature, and, importantly, brain function. I am convinced that many dance moves, and reactions to them are hard wired into humans. Dance is also a tribal ceremony, and you will find ritualistic entertainment packages in the better discos, for example E.D.E.N, tuesdays at midnight at STUDIO 54, in the MGM. features "snake girl" and a bungee dance to the story of the garden. Good dance music follows the periodic timing of the various human appendages, getting connected to the beat is simply a matter of waving whatever back and forth until, like a pendulum, the movement becomes automated.

Pure Nightclub in Caesars Palace was named the #1 club in the USA. It is easy to see why, the HUGE space is separated into several rooms, giving an experience that is closer to the intimate experience of a smaller club like LIGHT instead of a giant stadium experience like RAIN in the palms.

LIGHT NIGHTCLUB my favorite dance venue in the whole world. The music is nonstop and ever changing, superb sound system. . Light is a very small club; it is almost impossible to get in after midnight, especially Saturdays. Sunday nights are always a special event. Ask your concierge about passes.

The first time I heard about Pole-A-Palooza, i was expecting bump-and-grind solo dancing. The kind i win prizes at. I was very happily surprised to find, ltwo years ago at Pole-A-Palooza 2. The contestants are amazing athletes, capable of extending their bodies horizontally, and climbing to the top of a ceiling high pole. I hope my long-shutter photos help you feel the fluid motions of these world-class acrobats as they compete for a $10,000 prize. Pole-A-Palooza 4 photo database is now loaded.

The photo database from the Lingerie Beauty Contest at LIGHT in the Bellagio is posted, more to follow. Photos in clubs are "slow flash" mode, so you will see long trails and a frozen image for many shots. The lighting was very strong, so the images have clear motion trailsThe movement in the photo at right shows why i love a long exposure. What is not as obvious, is that i use a slow (1/30) shutter on my HDTV camera to blur motion and prevent information overload in the MPEG channels.

Drai's nightclub is another one of my favorites, it really gets going late... 3:30 in the morning. If you want to get in, go before the line forms. Drais is where many serious dancers go to strut their stuff. The DJs from the other clubs like to hang out there also.
